Toddler color sorting boards
Entertaining yourself as well as the toddler is always a challenge – to create something that you can play with together is a real sense of achievement believe me, so we really enjoyed reading about the process of making these really fun toddler color sorting boards over on styleyoursenses.com.
What’s great about these is that (a) you’ve made them yourself (whohey! go you!) and (b) you can use pretty much stuff you’ve got around the house… even if you don’t go the whole hog with fridge magnets – using baking trays and bright colours is such a brilliant idea, inspired!
So get sorting… go and have a look (together with older kids) through all those small toys, and get color sorting!
Hey, you could even turn this into a ‘tidy up’ chore without the kid knowing what you’re up to… we know a Dad who colour sorts all of his lego into different compartments in a tool box, but that’s another story…
