Decorated Tray DIY

The thing about crafts is, you can make them as easy or as complicated as you like – we fell in love with this geometric decorated tray over on www.myrainydays.com and our mind raced as to how we could do this with kids – the design is gorgeous, so we love the idea of taking this styling, and finding an old tray and think this could work really well with decoupage – we are definitely going to give it a go!

We couldn’t help relate this to computer games too – think of Qbert from the Eighties and the more contemporary Monument – if you want to get down with the kids!

Not only that – it is a really interesting take on geometry, and the art of optical illusions and could open up a whole conversation about artists such as Escher – what fun!
