DIY Window privacy frame

DIY Window privacy frame

DIY Window privacy frameIf like us you have your playroom on the ground floor, and don’t particularly want people peering in through the window, a DIY Window privacy frame is a brilliant idea.

This is great plan if you are anti net curtains, (I’ll be honest, I’m not keen!) And looks great in a contemporary sitting room too. Pictured here IKEA are using a lacy design, however, you could bring in some lovely coloured fabric to match the rest of the room’s decor.

This brilliant design, will let in the light, whilst obscuring the view for passers-by! It’s a clever idea, helping you with your privacy without hanging curtains or blinds.

Use calico, and fabric markers and create your own pattern, or let the kids do their own designs – personalise and have fun with this one…

And perhaps you could even use blackout fabric if you were to use similar in a baby’s bedroom, after all, we all know that newborns sleep better when they are in proper darkness. (AND some of adults do too eh!?)
