Handmade ropeWow, just wow! Handmade rope!

So much fabric goes into landfill it’s quite scary. With ‘fast fashion’ these days, people get through new clothes at such an amazing rate, what IS happening to all of their old stuff?!

Worry no more, you can make ROPE with it! Yes, I kid you ‘not’ (no Knot Pun intended…)

Seriously, when we say My Poppet’s brilliant post we just had to have a go – we have so many scraps of  fabric knocking around in the craft room, as I’m sure you do too – and we just can’t bring ourselves to throw it away – so guess what, we really want to have a go at making this fabric twine – talk about Scrap Busting! What shall we DO with it? Wouldn’t it make a great spiral rug, or set of place mats for a Christmas gift?

Better get twisting! Now there is a real knack to making this handmade rope from scrap fabric, so click here for full instructions, and a really sweet clear video too… enjoy!
