Lavender Scented Bunny Pillow

Scented Bunny PillowsLavender Scented Bunny Pillow

As a child we had lavender growing in the garden of my family home. It seemed traditional to make tiny pillows of lavender to keep in the drawers in our bedrooms, ostensibly to keep our smalls smelling sweetly perfumed, and practically to ward of the moths!

I have fond memories of particular home-made dress fabrics being used by a smaller self, and my mother, a summer party frock, a floral winter bridesmaid dress fabric -A Lavender Scented Pillow each in their turn perpetuating fond family memories, and in fact even now the aroma of lavender takes me back to that time in my life…. happy days!

If you’d like to have a go, try these little bunny pillows, a twist on the plain shapes we made as kids, but just as easy – check out MyPoppet’s easy Lavender Scented Pillow instructions here.
