No-carve Pumpkin decorating crafts
Autumn means pumpkin season in our house!
Why wait for Halloween when there’s so much fun to be had with pumpkins for the entire season! No-carve Pumpkin decorating crafts aren’t just great for Jack O Lanterns, they are also great props to give your home a fall feel! With that in mind, we’ve put together our favourite pumpkin themed crafts for you to try at home!
Whenever we go out on a walk in Autumn, we come home with a pocketful of conkers (chestnuts). This is such a fun way to use conkers in a crafty way to produce mini pumpkins (or other Halloween creatures!).
Crafts which once made can be stored at the end of the season are a great way to expand your decor year on year. We adore this no sew fabric pumpkin, although it’s cute enough you’ll want to keep it out all year!
This pumpkin craft is perfect for Halloween! Is it just our kids who get over excited at the idea of trick or treating? Sometimes they need a few minutes of calm, and these calm down balls for kids are perfect! They might also work well if you have a birthday party around Halloween – they’d make a lovely party bag Pumpkin stress ball filler!
Pumpkin decor doesn’t have to cost the earth, literally! Get your neighbours to save their empty toilet tissue rolls for you! This fall pumpkin garland is so simple but really effective – you could decorate an entire room with it!
Is it just us that has a “button jar”? Collecting buttons in a jar is something we’ve done for years, and this beautiful Button Pumpkin would look fabulous on any wall!
Oh, then our favourite type of pumpkin – an edible one! How about making some gorgeous Pumpkin cookies? Not actually made using pumpkin, more specifically sugar cookies iced to look like pumpkins! These are brilliant, perfect for brightening up a dull autumnal day.
Or some DIY pipe cleaner pumpkins
And your heart will melt over these kitty pumpkins!
Balloons are still handy for crafting – look how easy this is! read more here
