Pebbles with faces
Well these are just adorable, I’m sure you will agree, we love an ‘on the go’ craft – so these pebbles with faces can be so easy!
We always pack some permanent marker pens when we go on holiday, and whip them out when the kids get ‘bored’ on the beach… so the fun starts when you first challenge the kids to FIND the most suitable looking pebbles – with the flattest roundest ‘faces’ so then you ask them to do happy faces, sad faces, surprised faces and so on.
We really love these examples here, found on lacassettiera.blogspot.co.uk using more than one colour, but they do work equally well in just one colour – black pebbles, white pen, and white pebbles, dark pen – you get the idea!
And how about this for an idea? Why not collect pebbles for a birthday party take home too – get the kids sitting down to do this as an activity, and pop them in their party bags with a slice of cake and their own permanent marker pen so that they can carry on the fun with their own families too!
