DIY Ice Cream Cone Tray

DIY-ice-cream-cone-trayHave you ever tried to carry more than two ice cream cones without dropping them? Check out this brilliant DIY Ice Cream Cone Tray – inspired!

With that sunny weather JUST around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about ICE CREAM!
And with so many kids loving an ice cream cone, – just how do you serve them?! We have a rule that ice-cream should be eaten OUTSIDE, and definitely not in the sitting room… kids just don’t seem to be able to control that drip drip do they?!

Remember when you’d just ‘tidy up’ those drips on an ice cream cone for them when they were really little, and the cry of ‘don’t eat my icecream!!’?!

Anyway, these days, we have ice cream as a treat when there’s a playdate at our place, and as we said – how on earth do you ‘serve’ them in their cones if you want to keep the kids outdoors and not distract them from their outside play? And it’s a great way to encourage the children to get off their electronic goods and be coerced into hanging about outside – who wouldn’t go for icecream as a bribe an inspiration for a bit of outdoor activity!

Can you believe that there’s a craft blog post on just this topic?! We’ve got Alice and Lois to thank for this – it’s a wonderful idea, and one that we shall embrace for sure – check out their fab blog, for some amazing craft ideas
