DIY Rock Candy:DIY Rock Candy How To

Here is a super fun experiment to do with kids – make your own DIY Rock Candy!!! A great way to explore how things dissolve, but then recrystalise too. I love that they made a whole set of pretty rock candy treats here – so fun to look at too and I bet the kids will love eat it. If you do a planning session before your experiment and get the kids to predict what will happen – may also changing the sugar densities etc, then you can also turn this simple activity into a great S.T.E.M. activity for kids. Be sure to make some changes, predict and then compare your results at the end (whilst enjoying munching on your DIY candy!!!!!).
