Paper Cloud Ribbon Rainbow
When we spotted this Paper Cloud Ribbon Rainbow it took us back in time… We have fond memories of dancing gymnasts from our childhood, prancing around the gym mats, waving their beautiful ribbons – And then there were the Maypole Dancers – I was always having to play the boy, as I had the shortest hair in the class, yet I loved skipping in and out of the colourful ribbons around the Maypole!
So basically, what we are saying is that we rather love a rainbow of colourful ribbons – so any craft which incorporates a ribbon gets a big old tick from us!
One of our favourite places to shop is the haberdashery department of a department store, and seriously, we can’t leave without a roll of ribbon or two. So we thought we’d use some of the ribbons we have in our craft storage at the studio, and make one of these really fun Paper Cloud Ribbon Rainbows! We have a load of paper plates left over from the summer parties too, so thought they would be a brilliant idea for making clouds, just overlapping the plates together – this is actually really nice for smaller kids, and you could even use a stapler if you didn’t have any glue….
Over on www.meetthedubiens.com there are full instructions on how they have constructed this Paper Cloud Ribbon Rainbow and you’ll want to check them out for all of the ‘how to’ photos – and more great ideas on their blog too…. enjoy!
