Puffy Paint Pumpkins
It’s getting closer to that time of year! Halloween is almost upon us AGAIN and it feels as if it was only summer yesterday here!
Every year we go and select and pick our Pumpkins, and try to think of new and innovative ways to carve and decorate them. We have a fabulous tradition here in our small neighbourhood, that we are clinging on to as our children get bigger – we tip off our neighbours as to whether we are going to join in with the trick or treating, by leaving lit candles on our doorsteps, or inside the sitting room windows – looking out at passing groups of children – if the pumkin lanterns are LIT it means there are still some sweets and candy left to knock for…. if the lights are out, they’ve all gone!
