Skateboard swingSkateboard swing DIY

Oooh isn’t this the best Craft for Boys and Girls this Summer?! We have often seen the odd abandoned skateboard left outside by the bins, and I’ll admit it, a couple of them have made their way home with us, just because we couldn’t bear to see them go to the landfill.

And NOW we know exactly what to do with them, we just need to find a sturdy tree to hang this upcycled Skateboard swing from!

What a brilliant idea, and a great way to practice balance, and bond with the kids whilst you make it together!

I think these would be brilliant in a community park – (can you imagine the health and safety uproar!) And the kids would think it really cool to be swinging on a Skateboard swing if they are not yet able to manage actually skating on one with wheels!

Actually, it would be great to leave the wheels on, and lower it to ground level so you can have a pretend-skate on your Skateboard swing anyway! Probably the best I would do!
