Star Wars Sensory Lightsaber Bottles
If your little one wants to train to be a Jedi at home, why not build a Lightsaber with them at home, using this DIY Star Wars Sensory Lightsaber Bottle tutorial!
Star Wars is on our mind at FunCraftKids. This is all to blame on the intense new Star Wars trailer released. The whole household was so excited about it! So, we wanted to try to and train to be a Jedi just like Rey. Originally we planned to buy some lightsabers online but the high cost put us off. Thankfully Sarah from LittleBinsForLittleHands had a fantastic Star Wars DIY!
We found this fantastic tutorial for a light saber sensory bottle, from LittleBinsForHands! This DIY is perfect for recycling old packaging destined for landfill or the recycling box and finding the parts needed within the house (and it’s a great way to reuse those non recyclable plastic bottles)! We also discovered while making these, that not only did they make great lightsabers but they worked perfectly as a bedside lamp! This makes them fantastic for little ones who have a fear of the dark and a love for all things intergalactic.
These would be fantastic to make for a Star Wars themed party or as a good addition to any Star Wars Fanatics bedroom!
If you aren’t a big Star Wars fan however, you can make these into other themed sensory light sticks. Sarah from LittleBinsForLittleHands make A minion and A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle light! You can find the full tutorial on how to make them here.
We also discovered some cool Star Wars kids shoes that look fantastic alongside these lightsabers. Don’t worry, they do Adult sizes to! Best of all, they’re ethically made and eco friendly! Why not save the planet with these shoes while you save the galaxy as Rey, Poe or Finn!
