Woolly Sheep Craft

Woolly Sheep Craft – perfect decoration for your Easter table!

Thinking about Easter already!! Let’s take a moment to LOVE this cute Woolly Sheep Craft DIY. The perfect little Easter Craft for Preschoolers!

Woolly Sheep Craft

With pom poms everywhere this month, our eyes were drawn to this little cute Woolly Sheep Craft, I think the choice of the wool colour makes all the difference when it comes to a table decoration – choose the wool to go with your decor if you want to coordinate – or if you are like us, and have scraps of LOTS of different coloured wool, go organic and chaotic and use up what you have lying around!

The Woolly Sheep Craft technique here is slightly different to the traditional pom pom, and we like the simplicity of these, possibly easier for smaller children to master, certainly less fiddly, but just as effective.

It’s Easter! Fill your Easter breakfast table with woolly sheep in all sorts of colours – click here for full instructions from Studio Jean in the Netherlands.

So cute! How do you get from the wrapping part to the fluffy part? I seem to be missing something…

        Hello Marilyn,

When you cut out the ‘sheep’ part of card, you stick the end of a long piece of woll on to the card. Then you wrap away and make the sheep as fat as you want. When you are done, snip the woll and tuck the end of the woll somewhere in the sheeps belly. 🙂 Hope that helps! Here is a step by step tutorial on how to make them: http://www.studiojean.nl/en/paas-schaap/

        Best wishes,
