No sew embroidered sunglasses case
With Father’s Day just around the corner, we’ve been looking for easy crafts to make a unique gift, so this no sew embroidered sunglasses case is just perfect.
The DAD in this house is constantly taking off his sunglasses and leaving them around, it means that his case is often stuffed in a pocket somewhere and inevitably that case will go missing.
So, imagine how much he would treasure a homemade case?! (you’d hope…)
This no sew embroidered sunglasses case from Alice and Lois, is a really easy DIY, so easy small kids could have a go at the embroidery, and if you want to know about the ‘no sew’ aspect, check out the full post over on their website… Needless to say, you’ll need an iron, and a bit of grown-up help, but it’s VERY easy, and look how effective it looks!
I love the idea of making this from an old pair of jeans too, a great upcycle project, and we all know that denim is next to impossible to sew on a regular sewing machine without risking breaking a needle; so using a ‘no sew’ really appeals to me!
For more on this, check out Alice and Lois, and if you’d like to have a go, you can find the fusible tape here in the US and here in the UK (affiliate links)
