Children’s toys glued to a mirror frame – quick and easy!

toys glued to mirror frameWe all have piles of small plastic toys knocking around the house don’t we? And chances are your children have moved on to bigger and better things as they get older yet these small toys are deemed too precious to let go aren’t they?! Your local charity shop is also a great resource for plastic toys and plastic animals… I know we struggle to exit a charity shop without any small plastic nick nacks!

So how about these toys glued to a mirror frame? It’s a great recycling craft, and one you can do together with your children.

Charity shops will LOVE you for buying up their plastic toys, and we couldn’t think of a more fun thing to do with them all – REALLY love this idea – and we know how precious kids can be of their OWN plastic toys, so this gets over the heartbreak of trying to persuade them to part with their treasures – fab idea right!

Well we spotted a fabulous makeover on Dwell With Dignity’s website today, and just had to share – both the fabulous idea for the mirror makeover with the toys glued to a mirror frame, and what they are actually doing as a non-profit group of Interior Designers and volunteers dedicated to creating soothing, inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty.

Dwell With Dignity provide and install home interiors for families that include furnishings and art, bedding and kitchen supplies and we have to say, they do it really well…
